Setting It Up

Anyone familiar with installing a thermostat should be able to install the MRCOOL® Smart Thermostat, which is compatible with 24V AC. The simplistic, guided installation process will allow you to enjoy perfect temperature control in no time. As you’re switching out your old thermostat for your new one, you can even use our wall plate provided with the MRCOOL® Smart Thermostat for a clean modern look. As you’re installing the thermostat, remember to take a picture of the wiring, because you may need it to register your product. Once you’ve followed the manual’s instructions, you can take pride in installing the newest component of your HVAC system all by yourself!

The next step of setting up your Smart Thermostat is connecting it to our Smart HVAC app. If you already have one of our products installed, you probably already have the Smart HVAC app.  If you don’t already have a MRCOOL® system, you can download the Smart HVAC App from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Connecting your Smart Thermostat to the Smart HVAC app is a simple process and will allow you more control over your HVAC system than ever before!

• Vacation Mode – You shouldn’t have to worry about a single thing when you’re camping on the side of a mountain or sipping drinks on a beach. Vacation mode will keep your home at the right temperature to maintain it and minimize your energy bills while you’re away. 
• The MRCOOL® Link – Seamlessly transition between heat pump heat and gas furnace heat, while maximizing efficiency and ensuring peak performance, giving you the savings you want and the comfort you need.
