Building Your Own Home HVAC Unit!
Have you ever tried building your own home heating and air system using nothing more than the junk in your grandmother’s garage and/or basement? No? I have. It’s way harder than you think it’s going to be. At first, sure, you make good progress, because you found a fan. Then, everybody in the neighborhood freaks after you lose control of the fire.
The point I’m trying to make is that building your own HVAC unit is not easy. Installing a unit you bought off the shelf is not as difficult, but it’s no walk in the park either. If you don’t know anything about how HVAC systems function, what to do with coolant lines, or the proper application of a screwdriver, you can run into some real problems. The MrCool DIY ductless mini-split heat pump takes a previously impossible task, and makes it achievable.
By pretty much anyone.
I do mean anyone. I successfully installed the prototype MrCool DIY in our main office, and there was only one fatality. He was an intern, so I don’t think it counts. If you don’t have any interns, you have nothing worry about.
Plus, with the MrCool DIY, it’s almost impossible to start a fire that will burn down your grandmother’s entire neighborhood.
