Announcing the MRCOOL COMFY CLASH $50,000 Contest!

Introducing the MRCOOL® Comfy Clash Video Contest! We had so much fun with our last contest, we just had to do another one!

For the next four and a half months, you’ll be able to submit a video for a chance at 50k in total winnings, with a grand prize of $35,000!

How Can I Compete?

It’s easy to enter the Comfy Clash Video Challenge! All you have to do is create a video featuring MRCOOL®, post it to your Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok using the hashtag #MRCOOLComfyClash, and submit it to our contest page, at https://mrcool.com/contest/.

For this contest, we’re splitting the competition up into two major categories: Practical and Creative!

• Practical – Practical submissions are straightforward and to the point. Do you want to outright say your piece about how much you love your mini-split? Are you filming an installation? Do you plan to show the proof with energy bills from before and after installing our products? All of these fit within the scope of a practical video!
• Creative – If “Practical” describes the real-world applications of our products, Creative submissions encompass everything else! You can write a skit, a song, anything you can think of to show your love for your MRCOOL® system. Get those creative juices flowing and have fun!

Videos should be family friendly, and must remain visible on your page for the duration of the entire contest. 

What Happens After I Submit a Video?

We love seeing submissions come in! Once you post your video, it will be watched by an initial judging committee. Your submissions will be judged largely on two categories: Brand Story and Fun!

Brand Story covers the light in which you portray our brand. Fun indicates how enjoyable the video is to watch. 

We’ll be checking in on the contest entries all throughout the submission period until it ends on July 12th at 11:59 PM. After that, we’ll get to work on choosing the semi-finalists, finalists, and the winner!

Each category will have a set of three semi-finalists and one finalist. This means that there will be six semi-finalists total, all of whom will win $1,250, except for the lucky person moving up to the finalist bracket. We’ll present all of the semi-finalists on the week of July 29th to August 9th, where you can interact with us and tell us your favorite submission! After that, we’ll announce the contest finalists on August 14th. The finalist that does not win the contest will receive $10,000! We will announce the grand prize winner, who will win $35,000 on August 16th!

Submissions are open from March 1st until July 12th, so you’ve got some time to create and submit the perfect video!
